Happy New Year, Another Interview, and Wedding Updates

Hi everyone! How’s the new year treating you? I’ve been busy as always and have tons to share. First, my lovely friend Erica Chapman interviewed me about FLICKER. I’ve continued to receive wonderful feedback (check out the reviews on Amazon and Goodreads) and am excited for what 2013 will bring for my baby.

To answer the many people who’ve asked, FRACTURE is officially a work-in-progress and my plan is to release it this year. PLAN. I want to share the first line but it’ll be a bit of a spoiler for people who haven’t read FLICKER, so I’ll wait a little longer.

The other big thing I’m planning for is my wedding! It’s in less than three months and everything is coming together. I’m hoping to finish the invitations this week (a benefit to being a graphic designer) and hope to have those mailed out by the beginning of February. Last night we secured the location for our rehearsal dinner, and I have an appointment in two weeks for my dress fitting!

Speaking of fitting… I sadly do not fit into the clothes that I want. Lucky for me Groupon delivered a $59 Boot Camp class to my inbox so starting tomorrow (EEK!!) I will be sweating my butt off twice a week for 8 weeks. To say I’m scared is an understatement, but if this doesn’t whip me into shape nothing will.

I had two four-day weekends for the holidays and spent a lot of that time doing Pinterest crafts, so stay tuned for another post featuring my crafts!

How’s the new year treating you so far? Anything exciting to share?

  1. Great post! I loved the interview (especially the part about getting lost on FB or people watching instead of writing 😉
Your rehearsal dinner looks to be in a lovely place (I’ve never been to that town in MI but being from IL I’ve been to many wonderful spots in MI). Best of luck with the wedding and I will have to read Flicker.
