Selling Books in the Rain
Over the weekend, I sold books at my first in-person event in almost two years. (#ThanksCovid) I’ve been fully vaccinated for almost two months, so I loaded my car with plenty of books and hand sanitizer, snacks for the long day, and the blurb for my newest book tripping through my head. Despite being out of practice telling people about my book, I was excited. Never mind the torrential rain forecasted for the weekend — I was going to SELL BOOKS!

Upcoming Event – Reading Rocks
I’ve been hibernating since The Trail Rules first came out a couple months ago, but this coming weekend I have an event! Reading Rocks in Rockford: Saturday, June 2, 2018 – 9:45am to 1:00pm at the Krause Memorial Library.
My Fears Were Not Realized
When I agreed to speak to 200 eighth graders, I thought, “How hard can it be? Adults talk to kids all the time.” But THIS adult has very little interaction with anyone under the age of 25 so needless to say, the fear set in very quickly.
Meet the Author!
I’m officially in full promotion mode, which isn’t my favorite part of writing but it’s certainly necessary. But the fun side of that is going to events and meeting readers! Starting this weekend, I have quite a few local — and a couple not local — book and author events and I’d love to see you there!
