The Art of Taking Chances

I have big news! I’m in a YA romance anthology that comes out at the end of this month!! Aside from the trashy stories I wrote in middle school, I’d never written a proper short story, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. There are EIGHT other stories in the anthology, and best of all — the anthology will be free!

Without further ado, here’s the cover of The Art of Taking Chances:

The anthology releases at the end of June (less than a month away). Advance Reader Copies are available for download through Bookfunnel, so if you love reading YA contemporary romance and want to get your eyeballs on nine fantastic YA short stories, simply click the ARC link below!

There will be a print version, but the ebook will be free on all platforms!

My contribution to the anthology is a story called ‘The Friend Rules’. If that sounds familiar, you’re right. My story tells how two characters from The Trail Rules, Alex and Kurt, first started dating, and it takes place before The Slope Rules. Mica and Topher from TTR are there, too, and it was so fun writing trail riding scenes with the kids who really shred the trails.

Here’s the blurb:

Mountain biker Alex lives for riding with her three best friends, but when she starts to feel more than friendly with one of the guys, she has to decide if a shot at love is worth breaking the friend rules.

Cookie O’Gorman, bestselling author of Adorkable (which was AMAZING), wrote the foreword, and it’s made me even more excited for this to come out!
