Getting to Know Stephanie Scott

Stephanie Scott writes young adult and romance about characters who put their passions first. Her debut ALTERATIONS about a fashion-obsessed loner who reinvents herself was a Romance Writers of America RITA® award finalist. FALLING INTO PLACE is sweet second chance romance part of a multi-author series. She also has a short story in the YA anthology WELCOME HOME from Flux Books and a holiday romance in TIS THE SEASON FOR LOVE, a limited release box set out on Oct 14. She enjoys dance fitness, everything cats, and has a slight obsession with Instagram. A Midwest girl at heart, she resides outside of Chicago with her tech-of-all-trades husband and fuzzy furbabies.

Getting to Know Kevin Craig

KEVIN CRAIG is the author of contemporary young adult fiction (Summer on Fire, Burn Baby Burn Baby, Half Dead & Fully Broken, and, Pride Must Be A Place) and contemporary adult fiction with young narrators (Sebastian’s Poet and The Reasons). THE CAMINO CLUB is their seventh novel. It is forthcoming from Duet Books, the YA imprint of Interlude Press (October, 2020).

Getting to Know Sonia Hartl

Sonia Hartl is the author of Heartbreak for Hire (Gallery), The Lost Girls, Not Your #Lovestory, and Have a Little Faith in Me (Page Street), which received a starred review in BookPage and earned nominations for the Georgia Peach Book Award, YALSA’s Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers, Bank Street College of Education’s Best Children’s Books of the Year, and ALA’s Rise: A Feminist Book Project List. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s enjoying pub trivia, marathoning Disney movies, or taking a walk outside in the fall. She’s a member of SCBWI and the Managing Director for Pitch Wars 2020. She lives in Grand Rapids with her husband and two daughters.

Getting to Know Amy Trueblood

Amy Trueblood grew up in Southern California only ten minutes from Disneyland which sparked an early interest in storytelling. Fueled by iced tea and a good Spotify playlist, you can often find Amy settled in a quiet corner at her local coffee shop plotting her next book. Her debut, Nothing But Sky, was a Spring 2018 Junior Library Guild selection. Her second novel, Across a Broken Shore, was a Winter 2020 JLG selection.

Cheyanne Young is a native Texan with a fear of cold weather and a coffee addiction that probably needs an intervention. She loves books, sarcasm, and collecting nail polish. After nearly a decade of working in engineering, Cheyanne now writes books for young adults. Cheyanne lives near the beach with her family, one spoiled rotten puppy, and a cat that is most likely plotting to take over the world. Her newest book, The Last Wish of Sasha Cade, is available now.

Rachel Lynn Solomon writes, tap dances, and collects lipstick in Seattle, Washington. She is the author of the YA novels Today Tonight Tomorrow (out July 14, 2020), You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone, and Our Year of Maybe. Her debut adult romantic comedy, The Ex Talk, will be published in spring 2021. A longtime Pitch Wars mentor, she lives near a zoo with her husband and tiny dog.

It can sometimes be hard to read, but it’s so important to explore all parts of life. Her first novel, Girl in Pieces, was a NYT best seller, and her second, How to Make Friends with the Dark, was equally compelling.
